Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Fayetteville, AR
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our specialty practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support our dental team with a positive attitude. Experience in endodontics is preferred, but we are happy to train the right person. The ability to work efficiently as a team player in a fast-paced environment is necessary for this position.
Duties
Assist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Assist other team members as needed.
Take radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Educate patients on post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that reports are properly generated.
Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy is essential.
Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
Experience in dental assisting is preferred, with exposure to endodontics being a plus.
Proficient in using dental systems for record keeping.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
