Desert Foothills Dental is an established private practice in the Ahwatukee Foothills. What makes us unique are our core values (see below) - which are a mix of the old and new. We’re looking for someone to manage the day to day clinical and patient scheduling activities of the practice. Critical to the success in the position is the ability to multitask, data entry, thinking on your feet and patient communication skills. The value of the role to our practice comes from being able to make patients feel confident and secure in their treatment options and for selecting out practice for their dental home.

A Day in the Life of a Dental Assistant at Desert Foothills Dental On any given day at at Desert Foothills Dental you can expect to encounter the following: Arriving at 7:00 am (8:20 on Thursdays) and being ready to go at 7:20 am (8:50 on Thursdays) for morning huddle; working with a driven team of 1-2 other administrative team members; Caring for new patients and generations of families who trust us with their health; Working in a newly built office that holds on to time-tested values while adapting to an ever changing working dynamic; Treating every patient like we would like to be treated; As a practice, seeing between 18-26 patients each day; Use multiple technology platforms (Flex, Open Dental, etc.) to deliver efficient and FRIENDLY treatment. Using all equipment with care and ownership Improving daily on essential tasks such as taking quality x rays, suctioning, and patients care; supporting the hygienist is all aspects of preventative and periodontal procedures; and completing opening and closing duties as a team.
