Registered Dental Hygienist - Part Time (1 day per week)
Sarasota Periodontal Associates is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our amazing team working one day per week. The Registered Dental Hygienist works collaboratively with the dental team to make quality patient care a top priority and meets the oral health and hygiene needs of the patient. As a Registered Dental Hygienist you will provide quality patient care including diagnostics, comprehensive examinations, routine treatment procedures, education, and ensure all infection control procedures are followed.
Patient Care Hours: Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient screening including but not limited to the review of health history, dental charting, blood pressure check, digital x-rays, and oral cancer screening.
Removing calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth.
Patient education on appropriate oral hygiene strategies and nutritional impacts on oral health.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist preferred
Active Florida Registered Dental Hygiene license
CPR/AED certification, current.
