Job SummaryWe are seeking a part time dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our periodontics clinic team. Working days will be 2 Wednesdays and 2 Fridays a month (1st & 3rd week of the month) from 7 AM to 3 PM. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. You will work closely with periodontist to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of dental hygiene services.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar.
Assess patients’ oral health by taking vital signs and conducting preliminary examinations.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, scheduling, and record-keeping.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dental terminology, and preventive care.
Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and best practices in dental hygiene.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Washington.
Experience in a dental clinic setting preferred.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
