Job Description
Round Hill Smile Design is looking for a passionate and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team! We are a small, independently-owned, and community-focused general dentistry practice. We pride ourselves on caring for patients at a high skill level while maintaining a welcoming and comfortable environment.
Position Overview:As a Registered Dental Hygienist at our practice, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while maintaining the exceptional standards we have set for our office. We are seeking a friendly, professional, and collaborative team player who is dedicated to promoting excellent oral health and contributing to a positive experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough patient assessments and cleanings, including periodontal charting, scaling, and polishing.
Take digital X-rays.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and preventative care.
Document patient care and treatment plans in our electronic health records system.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Current RDH license in VA.
Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, terminology, and technology.
Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients.
A friendly, caring, and professional demeanor.
Ability to work collaboratively with a small team to provide the best patient care.
A passion for educating patients and improving their oral health.
