General Dental practice in the Alameda Neighborhood is looking for a long term Dental Hygienist to join our team since one of our Hygienists is moving out of state. Ideally we are looking for a team player who is willing to contribute enthusiasm and energy to the practice. Must have a kind, uplifting attitude and passion for Dentistry and serving patients.
Comfortably paced, kind, single Doctor practice. No accelerated hygiene, with long time patients. This is a part time position (2-3) days per week; these days are flexible. Valid dental hygiene license in the state of Oregon - nitrous oxide permit not needed. New grads are encouraged to apply. Compensation is dependent on experience.
Duties for our Registered Dental Hygienist include:

Providing dental health education about teeth care and diet.
Diagnosis of treatment needs for healthy and periodontal patients in conjunction with the Dentist.
Removing plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth.
Taking dental radiographs and occasional impressions of teeth.
Applying prophylactic/antibacterial materials, fissure sealants, and topical fluorides to help prevent tooth decay.
Carrying out screening and monitoring procedures.

Hours- We are open
Mon, Tue, Thu: 8 AM to 5 PM
Wed: 8 AM to 2 PM
Fridays and weekends we are always CLOSED!
