Registered Dental Hygienist - Carolina Smiles - Hendersonville, NC

We’re hiring a dental hygienist who can help us provide incredible dental care to each of our patients! You’ll conduct preliminary dental exams, help dentists with examinations and procedures, and perform thorough dental cleanings so patients walk out with a smile. This role is perfect for someone who loves to care for people and is highly attuned to detail. Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Compensation:
$40 - $45 hourly Responsibilities:

Sterilize all dental equipment to make sure everything is properly cleaned
Make patients feel at ease and taken care of before, during, and after the appointment
Examine patients’ dental health and get an overview of their oral health history
Record any changes to the patient’s health history and document the ongoings of each appointment
Use molds to create dental impressions of patients’ teeth so that their mouthguards, dentures, veneers, etc. are correctly made
Qualifications:

Must have at least an associate’s degree in dental hygiene; bachelor’s degree preferred
Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene
Able to stand up for long periods of time to administer dental exams and procedures
Valid CPR certification
Clear understanding and commitment to following HIPAA regulations and all safety guidelines
