We are a highly specialized dental practice consisting of 6 doctors (3 specialist and 3 general dentist). Summary
As a Dental Hygienist at LIC Dental Associates, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. This position is essential to our mission of delivering high-quality dental services while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.
We are a very tech heavy office with multiple soft tissue / hard tissue lasers, optical scanners, cbct, digital intraoral / extraoral cameras. Our focus is comprehensive dentistry with an emphasis on periodontal health.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Utilize dental terminology effectively in communication with patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
3 years minimum experience required as a Dental Hygienist
Familiar with digital dentistry including itero / trios scanners
Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and HIPAA regulations.
Experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
Ability to educate patients on oral health best practices clearly and compassionately.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
