Responsibilities:
- Conduct oral health assessments and develop individualized dental hygiene care plans- Perform professional dental cleaning procedures to remove plaque, calculus, and stains- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, proper nutrition, and preventative dental care- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed for patient diagnosis- Maintain accurate patient records and charting in compliance with HIPAA regulations- Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment
Skills:
- Proficiency in dental office procedures and terminology- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health principles- Familiarity with Open Dental or similar practice management software- Ability to perform patient assessments and treatment planning
