A well-established, solo practitioner, fully digital general dental practice is looking for a dental hygienist to join our team. Benefit package available. Salary based on experience. Has to be a team player, compassionate, thorough. Great collective and patient cohort.
Responsibilities:

Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque/calculus via prophylaxis, scaling in the presence of inflammation, SRP; apply fluoride and sealants).
Educate patients on proper teeth care (by demonstrating/describing proper brushing techniques, and flossing).
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history.
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis.
Sterilize dental instruments properly.
Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases.
Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures.
Take X-rays and digital scans.
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient.
Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible throughout procedures.

Requirements:

Valid license to practice.
A patient and friendly personality.
Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment.
Outstanding communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Diploma in Dental Hygiene.
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist.
