OverviewWe are in search of a Dental Assistant to join our team at The Dental Studio. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high quality care and compassion to our patients, while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office. Responsibilities
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) assisting the dentist in both administrative and clinical duties including: prepare patient for procedure or exam, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, take dental radiographs(X-rays), provide patients with oral hygiene education and post-treatment care instructions, and prepare materials and assist during dental procedures.
We are looking for an assistant that is willing to learn how to utilize digital dentistry to care for our patients. We utilize iTero in our office to provide a variety of restorative services. These skills can be acquired on the job, but general handskills will be a requirement. Additionally, you must be able to schedule patients and collaborate with the rest of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care. Dentrix software experience is a bonus, but can be acquired on the job.
Qualifications
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge of dental terminology, but can be learned on the job
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
