Full-Time Dental Hygienist – Oswego Commons Family DentalOswego, IL
Oswego Commons Family Dental is looking for a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our fast-paced, professional, and team-driven practice! Whether you’re a new graduate or an experienced hygienist, we welcome you to apply and become part of our veteran team that is dedicated to exceptional patient care.
Schedule:

Every other Monday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Thursday: 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Every other Friday (opposite of Monday): 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and patient education
Perform thorough periodontal assessments and accurately document findings
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, prevention strategies, and treatment plans
Take and review digital X-rays and intraoral images
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with the dental team to ensure an excellent patient experience
Assist in sterilization and infection control to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
Provide exceptional customer service, making patients feel comfortable, valued, and informed about their dental health

Qualifications:

Illinois Dental Hygiene License (or eligibility to obtain)
No experience required – new graduates are encouraged to apply!
Experience with Dentrix and Carestream is a plus but not required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality patient care
Confident, professional, and compassionate approach when working with patients and team members
Strong customer service and communication skills
