We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Perform dental cleanings and other hygiene procedures, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) and intro-oral photos as necessary.
Assess and document patientsâ oral health conditions, including gum health and dental hygiene.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and the prevention of dental diseases.
Assist the dentist during procedures when needed.
Maintain accurate and updated patient records in compliance with all relevant regulations.
Sterilize instruments and ensure the cleanliness of the work environment.
Stay current on dental hygiene trends, techniques, and continuing education.
Qualifications:
Valid Dental Hygienist License in Idaho.
Associateâs Degree in Dental Hygiene (or equivalent education).
3 years of experience in a dental office setting (preferred, but not required).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of dental software (experience with Dentrix Ascend a plus).
