Job Description

Looking for an RDH to cover maternity leave 2 days a week. From May- September. Great opportunity for a new grad! Dr. Mcgarvey is a dental educator.
The office staff is extremely supportive and helpful. You will see 5-7 patients per day and are given 30 minutes at the beginning and end of the day to set up, catch up on notes, sharpen, etc. Each cleaning is allotted one hour, and exams are done in a separate room, so you have the full hour for each patient.
Responsibilities:- Promotes dental health and is responsible for the delivery of preventive and therapeutic interventions in accordance with the provisions of the Dental Practice Act.- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Administer local anesthesia (when needed)- Take digital dental x-rays (when needed)- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations- Utilize dental software systems (Dentrix) to manage patient information
Requirements:- Valid state dental hygiene license- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program- Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients effectively- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $65.00 - $73.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
