OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing various clinical tasks, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and working collaboratively with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments and dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures effectively.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in accordance with practice protocols.
Review and update patient records using Eaglesoft or Dentrix software, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe treatment environment.
Stay informed about dental terminology and advancements in general dentistry to provide the best care possible.
Experience
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software is a plus.
Strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control procedures, and patient assessment techniques.
Demonstrated ability to perform documentation review accurately and efficiently.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00 - $90.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
