Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced dental office environment. This role requires reliability, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of dental terminology to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction.
Duties

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments, collect patient copays, and manage the dental office calendar efficiently.
Answer phone calls with professionalism, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Process patient information, including insurance verification and billing inquiries.
Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized patient files.
Ensure the reception area is clean, welcoming, and stocked with necessary materials.
Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate seamless patient care.

Skills

Proficient in phone etiquette to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Familiarity with dental terminology to assist in patient interactions and documentation.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar software a plus.
Strong clerical skills including 10 key typing for efficient data entry.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
Previous experience as dental receptionist preferred but not required.
Excellent organizational skills to keep the front office running smoothly.
