Dental Assistant - Richardson Family Dentistry - Richardson, TX

Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm.
$20-25/hour based on experience
We are looking for a reliable Dental Assistant to join our team. Must have strong communication and customer service skills. Must be able to multi task and work well in with a team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must be on time and reliable
Provide chair-side assistance to dentist for a variety of treatment procedures
Take and develop dental x-rays
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Record treatment information in patient records
Communicate with patients
Document patient dental treatments
Provide post operative instructions to patients
Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE DENTAL ASSISTANT INCLUDE:

Registered Dental Assistant preferred
Must be on time and reliable
Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs
Positive attitude and ability to patiently communicate well with children and adults
Strong working knowledge of dentistry and dental procedures
Hard-working and fun-loving a must
CPR Certification
Knowledge of Dentrix software preferred

HOURS: 35-40 hours per week
