Job Description

Part-time / Temporary dental hygiene assistant position available with south Oklahoma City dental specialty office - Periodontal Implant Center. Three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) 6:50am to 3:15pm. This temporary position will last through July 15, 2025. Previous dental experience is preferred, or an interest in pursuing admittance to a dental hygiene program in the future (this is a great door-opener position for someone interested in becoming a dental hygienist). Responsibilities

Chair-side assist dental hygienist
Update health history information
Take automated blood pressure
Data entry / periodontal charting
Word processing / creation of progress notes and update letters to referring dentists
Patient reminder calls
Assist with scheduling future recall appointments for each patient
Inventory / stock hygiene rooms
Support various administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents
Collaborate with team members on special projects as required

Requirements

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing support and assistance to patients
Time management skills that enable prioritization of tasks effectively in a busy environment.
Works well with others in a team-environment

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
