Responsibilities
à Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
à Scheduling appointments and direct patient traffic flow
à Confirm patient appointment
à Able to register new patients, re-call and returning patients for scheduled visit
à Communicate necessary information to assist patients with their appointments
à present treatment plans to patients
à arrange payment schedules/Billings with patients
à Processing of dental claims
à coordinate with dental insurance companies to ensure claims are paid
Qualifications
à Must understand dental terminology
à Should be proficient in Dentrix Ascend
à Able to verify patient eligibility for dental insurances and give estimates for treatment plans.
à Must have excellent communication skills
à Computer literate
à Previous dental front office experience is a MUST
