Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This position involves diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing various dental procedures, and educating patients on oral health. The Dentist will work collaboratively with a team of dental professionals to ensure a high standard of care in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including but not limited to endodontics and pediatric dentistry.
Perform various dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, crowns, and bridges.
Utilize dental software systems like Epic and Eaglesoft for patient management and record keeping.
Fabricate dental appliances as needed, ensuring quality and precision in all work.
Maintain an aseptic technique during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Experience in general dentistry; proficiency in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Epic and Eaglesoft is preferred.
Strong knowledge of dental fabrication techniques and materials.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
