Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dental procedures, including prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. The Dentist will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment. This role requires proficiency in infection control practices and aseptic techniques to maintain the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontic treatments.
Administer local anesthesia and manage pain control for patients during procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote overall dental health.
Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic system and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members to provide exceptional patient care.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment for both patients and staff.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Experience in performing endodontics, including root canal therapy, is preferred.
Knowledge of prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control measures in a dental office setting.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
