CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
Dentist licensed to practice in the State of Washington, without restriction, probation or limiting condition or threat thereof.
DEA license/registration to prescribe drugs, medications, pharmaceuticals, and controlled substances.
DESIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
DDS or DMD with one year of experience providing general dental care.
Has not been disciplined by any professional or peer review organization, governmental agency, licensing body, or hospital staff for any action or omission based on or related to quality of care.
Knowledge of dental clinic standards and practices.
Ability to provide service to patients of all ages.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with clients and other members of the care team.
Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, utilizing concise and comprehensive documentation with strong technical writing and record-keeping skills.
Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems. EPIC experience preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfort with the pace of primary dental care.
Able to work efficiently and effectively under stress, simultaneous responsibilities, and demands from diverse sources.
Able to multi-task and exercise effective time and task management.
Demonstrated ability to work with a low-income, multi-ethnic patient population and relate respectfully and effectively to people of diverse racial, educational, and socio-economic backgrounds.
Must be a confident, self-directed individual who can work within a team as well as independently.
Knowledge of evidence-based dentistry.
Solid background in patient education and lifestyle risk reduction.
Possess and maintain a valid driverâs license.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
