Key Responsibilities
Assist the pediatric dentist with exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and procedures
Take and develop digital X-rays
Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene
Ensure a comfortable and positive experience for young patients
Maintain a clean and organized clinical area
Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
Accurately chart patient records using OpenDental software
Prepare and explain treatment plans to parents/guardians
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
What We Are Looking For
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification â Required
Coronal polishing and sealant certification â Preferred (or must obtain during probation)
X-ray certification â Required
CPR certified â Required
Experience in pediatric dentistry â Preferred but not required
Familiarity with OpenDental software â Preferred
Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office
Passion for working with children and making dental visits a positive experience
A team player with a positive attitude
Schedule & Location
North Austin, TX
Full-time position â Monday through Friday
Monday - Wednesday: 7:30 AM until duties are completed (Office closes at 5 PM)
Thursday: Off (tentative day for GA cases or team meetings if needed)
Friday: 7:30 AM until duties are completed (Office closes at 5 PM)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 - $26.00 per hour
