Dental Assistant (We will train the right candidate)

Serving as a dental assistant at Mystic Smiles, a new children and adult dental office, may be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for many aspects of direct patient care and performing clinical and clerical functions independently while under direct supervision:

Chair-side Assisting: set up operatory for planned dental procedures and clean dental unit for timely turnover, pass instruments safely, prepare dental medicament and impression materials, and assist in routine and specialized dental procedures.
Customer Service: showing courtesy and respect for patients, co-workers, and the public.
Infection Control and Equipment Sterilization: demonstrate proper infection control procedures in setting up and cleaning operatories and properly prepare instruments.
Clerical Function: assist dentist in charting findings and treatment plans in patient records as well as answering phone calls.

Qualifications:

Must have current Basic Life Support certification.
We are willing to train the right candidate for a career in dental assisting.

Hours:

Wednesday (3pm-7pm).
Thursday (8:30 pm - 7 pm).
Friday (8 am - 3 pm).
One Saturday a month (8 am - 3 pm).
