Job Description
We are a locally owned private family dental practice looking to add a dental assistant to our growing team. We are looking for someone that has a positive attitude, great work ethic, quick learner, and comfortable with technology and case presentation. One year experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients for treatments ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist during procedures
Provide post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments
Skills
Proven experience as dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
Registered dental assistant license required
One year experience
