Job SummaryThe Veterans Administration (VA) Clinic in Knoxville, TN is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dentist to provide high-quality dental care to our nation's veterans. This position offers the opportunity to serve those who have served our country, delivering comprehensive oral health care in a collaborative and patient-centered environment. The Dentist will perform a variety of procedures, including routine check-ups, preventive care, and specialized treatments while maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health conditions.
Provide preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges.
Conduct endodontic treatments, including root canal therapy.
Deliver pediatric dentistry services tailored to the needs of younger patients.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards in the dental office.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and infection control protocols.
Experience or training in endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $192,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
