Morning Star Children's Dentistry is a new and exciting pediatric dental office in Naples, FL! We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Expanded Function Pediatric Dental Assistant: to join our team. If you are passionate about working with children and are committed to providing them with a positive and enjoyable dental experience, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort for young patients.
Perform expanded functions such as sealant application, coronal polishing, fluoride treatments, and taking impressions.
Create a welcoming and fun environment to help children feel at ease.
Educate both patients and parents on oral hygiene best practices.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile work environment following infection control protocols.
Manage patient records and appointments, with familiarity in Dentrix Ascend or Dentrix preferred.
Multitask effectively in a busy pediatric dental office setting.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a dental assistant (pediatric experience preferred).
Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
Passionate about working with children and ensuring they have a great dental experience.
Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend or Dentrix software is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
