Job Description
Job OverviewThis position is for Friday mornings only from 8am to 12: 30pm. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. This position requires proficiency in dental terminology and a strong understanding of general dentistry practices.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are readily available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed..
Manage the sterilization of instruments and maintain cleanliness in the clinical area.
Perform basic laboratory tasks as directed by the dentist.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant mandatory.
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry practices is essential.
Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques to assist effectively during procedures.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being capable of independent tasks.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and staff alike.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.92 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.5 per week
