Dental Assistant - Horizon Implants - Santa Ana, CA

Horizon Implants is a premier dental implant and surgical practice in Thousand Oaks, specializing in dental implants, wisdom tooth extractions, sinus and bone augmentations, and full mouth rehabilitation. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and are looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist in surgical and implant procedures, including single implants, wisdom teeth extractions, RCTs and full mouth rehabilitations.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms.
Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records.
Ensure patient comfort and provide post-operative instructions.
Maintain infection control protocols and comply with OSHA & HIPAA regulations.
Manage supplies and inventory for the clinical area.
Support front desk duties when necessary, including scheduling and patient communication.

Qualifications:

Experience in surgical and implant dentistry is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required.
