Dental Assistant - The Dentists in Lawrence - Larned, KS

Overview: Come join our growing practice! The Dentists in Lawrence is expanding! We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. As a crucial member of our team, you will assist our dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, help patients feel comfortable and informed, and ensure the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities:

Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Take digital, dental radiographs (x-rays)
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Perform office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
Scanning and designing same day crowns with Cerec software
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Proven experience as a dental assistant or similar role preferred, not required but we will train the right candidate.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 38 per week
