Responsibilities

Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment to maintain a clean environment.

Prepare treatment areas and ensure that dental tools and materials are ready for procedures.

Take X-rays (radiographs) and develop them for the dentist’s review.

Provide post-operative instructions to patients and assist with follow-up care.

Schedule and confirm patient appointments.

Maintain patient records by updating information and ensuring it is accurate and confidential.

Handle billing, insurance claims, and other office management tasks.
