Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and flouride application.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations to diagnose dental conditions.
• Perform a range of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals (endodontics), and pediatric dentistry.
• Utilize medical imaging techniques to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment during procedures.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
