Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting a hygienist with flossing, polishing, and taking X-rays, as well as the ability to foster a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures to ensure efficiency and patient comfort.
Support the hygienist by performing flossing, polishing, and other preventive care procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are readily available.
Take and process dental X-rays while strictly adhering to safety and radiation protection protocols.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental software.
Ensure compliance with infection control standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

Experience in flossing and polishing.
Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and best practices.
Proficiency in taking X-rays.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
