Responsibilities of a Pediatric Dental Assistant

Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for dentists
Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs
Taking Digital X-rays
Greeting patients as they arrive

Skills and Qualifications of a Pediatric Dental Assistant

Must enjoy working with children and teens
Customer service and communication skills to ensure patients feel comfortable during appointments
OSHA compliance regulations
Well organized and reliable
Attention to detail
Maintain a positive demeanor
Certified Coronal Polishing (preferred)
