Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team!
Who We Are…We are a fast-paced, hygiene focused private general dentistry practice, with our dentist owner practicing over 30 years. We are digital for x-rays (including cone beam) and impressions, we do lnvisalign orthodontic treatment, and we also place implants in- office. In addition, we have contracted providers who travel to our practice for endodontic and oral surgery procedures.

For you: 1- week working interview. After one week, we assess your skill level and fit with the team, and if appropriate, a compensation package including Dental Benefits will be presented. Our typical patient schedule is Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday, with the possibility of a small amount of additional time on a rotation basis as needed. Our ideal candidate will be energetic, well-organized (with great attention to detail!) and possess outstanding and compassionate patient care skills. Candidate must be able to follow instructions and respect dental office protocols. We want our team members to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care, and be constantly striving to make office procedures run as smoothly as possible.
Responsibilities:

Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
Assist dentist chairside with all procedures.
Take scanned and traditional impressions and accurate, diagnostic quality x-rays
Pack cord and make temporaries.
Keep track of lab cases and scheduled cementation appointments.
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Maintain inventory and keep operatories organized and well stocked.
Schedule appointments for patients and contribute to schedule maintenance however needed

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
