Job Title: Dental Assistant
Job Summary:
Rahway Family Dental & Orthodontics is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentist during procedures, ensure patient comfort, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and help with administrative tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during exams and procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, and cleanings)
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
Take dental X-rays
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
Manage dental supply inventory and restock materials
Schedule appointments and assist with front-desk tasks when needed

Requirements:

Dental Assistant certification (preferred but not required)
X-ray certification (required)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Experience with dental software (a plus)

Job type: Part-time
Compensation: $24-28/hour
Schedule:

Monday- Wednesday: 9-6
2 Saturdays/month: 9-3
