Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team here at Kenney Dental. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position we are offering is for full time (36 hours) .
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient record management and scheduling.
Apply knowledge of general dentistry to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, dietary choices, and preventive care.
Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Adhere to aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
Qualifications
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software is preferred.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
