Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Lead Dental Assistant to help support our dental team in delivering outstanding care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in dental assisting, a strong understanding of office procedures, and the leadership ability to mentor and guide a team of dental assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take on a leadership role in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals.
Lead and coordinate the dental assistant team, ensuring smooth daily operations and optimal patient care.
Provide training and mentorship to dental assistants, ensuring they adhere to the highest standards of care and professionalism.
Maintain patient records accurately and assist in managing patient flow.
Manage sterilization of dental instruments, ensuring compliance with OSHA and infection control guidelines.
Prepare treatment rooms and set up necessary instruments, materials, and equipment for dental procedures.
Take X-rays, impressions, and assist with lab work as needed.
Ensure the office and clinical areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering and maintaining dental supplies.
Communicate effectively with patients to provide education and explain procedures or treatments.
Qualifications:
Must be bilingual (Spanish)
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a dental assistant, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
Dental Assistant certification, Radiology certification and CPR certification.
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, equipment, and sterilization protocols.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well in a fast-paced environment.
Friendly and compassionate with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 â 40 per week
