Dental Hygienist - Kirkwood Dental Care - St. Louis, MO

We are looking for a dental hygienist to join our team at Kirkwood Dental Care!
We are a small general family dental office located in Kirkwood. We are not a corporate office and pride ourselves in taking time to treat our patients as well as getting to know them. The office is small, but provides high quality dental care and has a family feel. Our ideal fit would be motivated, energetic, have a great work ethic, and definitely be a team player. A knowledge of Eaglesoft would be a plus, and we are willing to work with those with limited experience. Thank you and we look forward to meeting you!
Hours:
Mon 9-5 Tues 9-5 Wed 9-5 Thurs 9-2
Responsibilities

Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride and sealants, and root planning
Complete a thorough assessment of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions
Customize care to meet patient's oral health
Educate patients on good oral hygiene technique
Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards

Qualifications

Registered Dental Hygienist license in state of practice
Current CPR certification
1-2 years of experience working in a dental practice
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proven dedication to provide high quality, comprehensive dental care
Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment
Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $49.00 - $55.00 per hour
