Job Description

We are a locally owned and operated family dental office, seeking a detail oriented, friendly, and personable full-time or part-time registered dental hygienist. As a dental hygienist, you will be an important part of our team and provide patients with premier preventative dental care. Three to five years of work experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Reviewing patient history
Administer all dental hygiene procedures as set forth in the Louisiana Dental Practice Act
Use of digital x-rays
Patient charting
Educating and advising patients on oral hygiene
Scheduling of recall appointments
Assist in updating and maintaining patient treatment plans under the supervision of dentist
Document areas of existing restorations
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

Licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry
Ability to read and maintain patient charting
Familiarity with office software systems
Team player
Gentle patient care

Monday thru Thurs. 7:30AM to 5:00PM
Some Fridays 7:30AM to 12:00PM

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week
