Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Micah Oller, DMD Inc. - Milpitas, CA

Micah M. Oller, DMD, Inc. is seeking a skilled, reliable, patient-oriented chairside dental assistant to join our well-established endodontic practice.
About Our Office:
Micah M. Oller, DMD, Inc. is a solo dental practice located in Milpitas, California. Dr. Oller is a highly skilled dentist with 25 years’ experience. His patients appreciate his expertise as well as his patient, gentle demeanor. The office currently has four employees and is looking to add another RDA to the team.
Responsibilities:

Document patients' chief complaints, health history, and treatment notes
Assist Dr. Oller chairside during patient examinations and procedures
Take digital radiographs and 3D cone beam radiographs
Discuss pre- and post-operative instructions with patients
Create a calm and welcoming atmosphere for patients
Maintain the back office lab and lab equipment (we will provide training)
Keep track of inventory and order back office supplies

Qualifications:

Must be a licensed Registered Dental Assistant
Excellent interpersonal skills - the ability to put patients at ease and get along well with co-workers
Ability to follow instructions as well as take initiative
Strong attention to detail
Professional work ethic
Regular and dependable attendance is a critical requirement for this position

Applicants who reach the final stage of the interview process will be required to pass a background check and come in for a paid working interview prior to being offered the position.
Typical Work Schedule: Approximately 30-40 hours per week, based on patient schedule. Our patient hours are:

Monday – 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Tuesday – 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Wednesday – 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Thursday – 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Friday – 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
