Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Take and record vital signs to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Utilize Eaglesoft for patient management and record-keeping.
Maintain aseptic technique to prevent infection during procedures.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging and assist in prosthodontics procedures.
Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and following up on appointments as a dental receptionist.
Ensure all dental instruments are sterilized and prepared for use before each procedure.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of general dentistry practices, including assisting techniques.
Familiarity with vital sign monitoring, aseptic techniques, and dental software (Eaglesoft).
Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Certification or training in dental assisting is preferred but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
