OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in various procedures. Our office services a wide variety from cleanings to endodontics to oral surgery! This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take accurate digital dental radiographs (X-rays)
Maintain accurate patient records
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
Ensure the dental operatory is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Assist in the full scope of dental procedures by preparing materials and instruments.
Utilize 3D scanners for imaging as required during procedures.(if you have never used a digital scanner, we will gladly train you!)

Skills

Proficient in assisting with dental procedures and understanding of four-handed dentistry techniques.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, and anatomy.
Familiarity with dental procedures and the general practice
Ability to apply aseptic techniques consistently in all tasks.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
