Job Summary:
Solon Family Dental is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Dental Sterilization Assistant to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, working in a fast-paced environment, and being part of a team. We will provide training and help you obtain your X-ray license, allowing you to take on more responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Properly clean, sterilize, and organize dental instruments following strict infection control protocols.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-stocked sterilization area.
Set up treatment rooms and assist in turning over rooms between patients.
Assist hygienists with charting, patient care, and room preparation.
Once X-ray certified, take radiographs and assist with assisted hygiene appointments.
Help the front desk by making patient recare phone calls during downtime.
Support the team with other tasks as assigned.
