Job Description

As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dental team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the practice. You’ll play a key role in assisting our dentists with patient care, providing excellent service, and contributing to the overall patient experience. We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, proactive, and a team player.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and the treatment room
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and maintain radiology standards (certified in dental radiology is preferred)
Provide patient care, including comforting patients and ensuring they feel at ease
Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean and safe working environment
Schedule appointments and maintain patient records
Participate in patient education regarding dental hygiene, treatments, and home care
Perform general office tasks such as restocking supplies and managing inventory

Qualifications:

Dental Assistant certification (CDA) required; or equivalent experience
MA License (Massachusetts) required
Preferably Certified in Dental Radiology, or willingness to become certified
High school diploma or equivalent
Eagerness to learn and grow within the dental field
Strong communication skills and a passion for patient care
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
