Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Office Coordinator to join our dental team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front office, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and providing excellent customer service.
The Front Office Coordinator plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment for patients while supporting the overall efficiency of the practice.
Key Responsibilities: Greet and check in patients as they arrive, ensuring a positive experience. Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal patient flow. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and address patient needs in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate and updated patient records in the dental management software. Verify and update patient insurance information and handle billing inquiries. Process payments and manage financial transactions. Assist in preparing treatment rooms and maintaining the officeâs cleanliness and organization. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth communication and efficient practice operations. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail. Assist with marketing efforts to promote the practice and attract new patients.
Perform other administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in office administration or dental assisting preferred. Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is a plus. Proficient in using office software, including dental management software. Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional demeanor. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented and organized. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is a plus.Benefits:
