Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Georgetown Elite Dental - Georgetown, TX

Job Summary:
We are seeking a self-motivated, skilled and experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communications skills, prior clinical experience in the dental office and enjoy hands on work as well as working with patients. This is a fast-paced position which requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively while under a lot of pressure to assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, and help to ensure patients receive quality oral care.
Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment per OSHA & CDC guidelines- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills:
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations- Understanding of dental anatomy- Experience in prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry- Proficiency in aseptic techniques and infection control- Familiarity with Open Dental software for patient management- Ability to assist with pediatric dental procedures
