EFDA Dental Assistant for Small Family Practice - Manayunk Family Dentistry - Chalfont, PA

Job Overview
We are looking for an EFDA dental assistant to join our small, family focused, independently owned dental practice. The office is a neighborhood practice in Manayunk/Roxborough, where many of our patients are our neighbors. We pride ourselves in providing the area with high quality dental care in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
Our office includes the owner-dentist, an office manager, and two dental assistants. We are seeking an EFDA to expand the capacity of the practice.
An ideal applicant will be well versed in all general dentistry and hygiene procedures, be EFDA certified, and possess a radiology certificate. The intention of hiring an EFDA is for the applicant to be able to work independently, completing appropriate procedures so the dentist can be treating additional patients. Additional duties will include traditional dental assistant procedures such as chair side assisting, sterilization, and room turn over. All applicants must have at least 2 years experience in a general dentistry practice.
Experience with Dentrix and intraoral scanners is desirable but not required.
We are seeking someone who is interested in a long term employment opportunity. Compensation will be based on experience. Additional benefits, including PTO/Sick leave will accrue after 6 months.
