On a more objective note, we are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care.
Duties:- Prepare patients for dental work- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment and rooms- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Take digital dental X-rays- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies and post-op instructions- Maintain accurate patient records- Manage dental supply inventory
Skills:- Knowledge of dental anatomy- Familiarity with aseptic techniques - OSHA- Understanding of dental terminology and coding- Proficiency in Open Dental software- Ability to perform X-Ray procedures - licensed- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred- Competency with computers
This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic dental practice with a tight team, we are a small practice and we focus on our patients first. We have the latest technology with digital x-rays, CBCT, Trios Scanner, 3D printer and crown milling machine. Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
