Job Opportunity: Experienced Dental Assistant
Are you a skilled and reliable Dental Assistant looking to join a friendly, private practice? We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to become part of our dedicated dental team.
Position: Dental AssistantLocation: South Vue Dentistry (private practice) Dr. Wesley Howard.Pay Range: $25 - $30 per hour (commensurate with experience)Hours: Approximately 32 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during patient exams and procedures
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed. X-ray Certified is required.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with treatment planning
Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and safety
Manage patient flow and assist with scheduling appointments as needed
Keep the dental operatory clean and organized
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-procedure care
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting
Active and valid radiology certification
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented, with a focus on patient care
Ability to work well in a team and manage tasks efficiently
